Acting for Dancers
Get ready to shine in our Acting for Dancers Classes!
Levels A & B
These classes are an engaging introduction to the world of acting, designed specifically for dancers of all experience levels. Students will build confidence, creativity, and stage presence while learning how to connect movement with storytelling—an essential skill for strong, expressive performers.
Classes begin with interactive warm-ups and theatre games to loosen up the body and voice, spark imagination, and build focus. From there, dancers will explore core acting techniques including character development, emotional expression, improvisation, and scene work, all with an emphasis on performance quality and musicality.
To support well-rounded training, students enrolled in Acting for Dancers are required to also be enrolled in at least one Ballet or Jazz class, allowing them to apply acting skills directly to their movement and performance on stage.
These classes help dancers bring choreography to life, connect authentically with an audience, and elevate their overall performance presence.
Expression and storytelling take center stage in Acting.
Join us and bring your unique flair to the floor!
These dancers will not perform at the year-end Recital.
